A Transformational Story of Divine Healing

And They Danced

Three souls are really One, so HE thought.

HE sat at the end of a couch, cuddled in the warmth of the unconditional love of HIS brothers and sisters in the One. Their gathering, though weekly, had moved beyond earthly constraints, melding, so effortlessly, into the One.

Names are unimportant here, when talking of the One.

They conversed openly, hearts and souls, burning with the splendor of the Light, secretly wondering how they would answer the teacher's question.

HIS heart constricting in HIS chest, HIS turn arrived much too soon.

"What one moment in this last week, whether it was a dream or just a second where it all came together and made sense, did you suddenly experience a divine moment of understanding? I want you to tell me. Each of you should have experienced such a moment, sometime this past week."

"I think my moment came a little more than a week ago" HE said.

"There is a woman that I've been working with, doing energy work with Reiki, Seichim and some other modalities, that was diagnosed with both lung and liver cancer."

"Three of us, gathered under a common goal, started visiting her every week, more often if we could. We treated her with the tenderest of care, with love, so much love, and compassion, and with the combined Light of us all, we tried to cure her. Our goal was united, we all agreed."

"SHE, with an uncanny certainty, joined our vision and our dream, of doing the unthinkable. We wanted a full cure."

The gatherings became special. Three, sometimes two, but always together as the One, gliding into her domain. The heartfelt love between them, so tangible, so bright, always filled the house until it was brimming with light.

HE, sometimes uncertain, although always wanting to serve, spoke once of a dream -- a vision perhaps.

One dance.

The dance of joy.

And victory.

HE, always debonair in HIS mind, spoke of a hall, a dance hall, glowing with hidden lights.

SHE, transformed, unlike the present, sparkled with youth and vitality.

They walked, one towards the other, across the ball room, meeting at its center. The music started, playing some unknown, yet moving waltz.

They came together. And as One, glided across the floor, effortlessly, gracefully, flying about, laughing and smiling, both bubbling with the future unfolding, manifesting before their eyes.

"One dance" HE said.

"Our dance."

"Who knows, I may actually take Arthur Murray up. A free dance lesson! Boy, won¹t I just knock their socks off! Two left feet!" They laughed as One, joined in the vision.

She passed this Saturday before last.

For many days, I kept beating myself up. Wondering, What could I have done different? Could I have done more than I did? Did anything I do help? If I was a better person, could I have done more?

The hammering heart moved to a full-scale seizure.

Breathing became erratic. A huge lump, materializing from nowhere, lodged in HIS throat.

Tears, unbidden, gathered in his eyes.

I kept asking myself, these same questions, over and over.

Loving, warm, gentle hands slowly slid over HIS trembling palms.

HE took a deep breath and continued.

I always seem to look at me as the answer to the problem. Here I thought we were all headed in the same direction. She had gone into remission, and was going on a vacation.

But I realized that maybe I had it all wrong.

Here I thought all of us knew what she really received from us, what the intention of our love and Light was.

But we had it all wrong.

I had it all wrong.

She is where she is supposed to be.

She is happy, and fulfilled, having accomplished her goal, and experienced unimagined pain, fear, despair, hope, love, and joy, in the last months of her life.

She thought she was alone, but found unknown family.

She is still here, with us, watching, loving, guiding.

She will always be here.

I realized we three had come together as One, sharing our love with her, unconditional, and the Light from the heavens, and she used it exactly in the way that was best for her. The sob quickly escaped his unsuspecting lips.

I realized how blessed we had been.

That I had been.

We wanted to give her life, long blessed life.

And we had.

HE, free of the last vestiges of his loss, drove down the highway, headed home.

The song, now playing on the radio, popped into HIS head.

It was the Hooters singing "And they danced" over and over again in HIS head.

And there with it, a vision appeared.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They met, together in the middle, joined like Fred and Ginger.
And they danced, laughing and spinning together, knowing that three had become four.
Or One.
